Hey, my name’s Brandon.

I’m 18 years old. I live in Elk Grove, California a suburb south of Sacramento, our state capital.

I’m interested in love, children (especially their development and curiosity), cultures, and life.

Though I’m young, nervous about starting college, and have no idea what I should study for a profession, I do know what I ultimately want in life:

  • A closely-knit family:
    • A wife who I sincerely and unquestionably love
    • Children that I can spoil and adore
    • To be on great terms with all of our relatives and to see them often
    • To be involved in the lives of even the youngest members of my extended family
  • To have a home that’s warm, cozy, and devoid of stress.

Oh, and I’m rather adept at using technology.

I repost quite a bit of content that had originally been created by someone other than myself. As you can probably imagine, this requires far less brain power than creating something unique. So—in the interest of being honest—I may as well just call myself a zombie.

Nerdy stuff

My computer

I recently acquired my first Macintosh computer, an Apple Power Macintosh G4 1.42 DP FW 800 (Specs), and I’m very proud of it. The previous owner had maxxed out the RAM to 2GB and upgraded the HDD, so, for a 2003 model, it performs quite well. But:

  • I’m just managing to get by with the two default USB 1.1 ports, but I plan to soon purchase a USB 2.0 PCI card.
  • The Mac does not contain an Airport Card, so in order to use it in my room I’m using the ASUS USB-N13 Wireless-N Adapter which works perfectly. If you need a wireless adapter, I’d definitely recommend it.
